The water would work, but soon the ice maker stopped. Called in for service. They said it would cost $250! Asked service guy to thaw out the freezer part (it was all caked up with frost and ice). Went to Best Buy and bought a new filter. It has been working for several months now! Remember to change the filter when that light comes on -right away!
