Does a good job. Our city water tastes “normal.” The only thing I’ve noticed is that it will not remove a lot of minerals, which is good in a way. We have hard water and when the ice melts on silicone, it will leave behind a calcium carbonate residue. So it’s hard to tell what other minerals or chemicals that are getting through. We end up spending $100/year (replace every 6 months usually), which I guess isn’t too bad.

I have been using it for the last 8 years, and it is an excellent product.

The product has yet to disappoint. It is easy to remove the old cartridge and replace it. The most tedious post of the process is moving the refrigerator to access the water valve. I've turned off the water, removed and replaced the cartridge, then moved the fridge the back only to realize that water was still off. Other than that, simple and easy.

I learned the hard way that sometimes it's better NOT to save money with generic products, when the icemaker on my last Samsung fridge died after installing an inferior filter. Ever since then I've insisted on the Samsung genuine article, and had no problems. So, maybe that generic filter was defective, and maybe I'm just being ridiculous, but for this one item I'm prepared to spend the few extra bucks and be worry-free.

I needed some filters for my Samsung fridge and these fit perfectly.

We just recently bought a new house and it has all new samsung appliances. Everything was ready to go and use but the refrigerator was a missing this water filter. Was able to order online from Best Buy, do curbside pick up the same day. Once I got home unwrapped and installed in a couple minutes. Very easy to install and work with. Pop it in, twist and your all set.

nice design, easy to install. filter also lasted 6 months which was nice since it did get used a lot.

I searched online to save on the cost of this filter and after reading many reviews on other merchants websites I decided to purchase the name brand. I'm glad I did because this filter fit perfectly and works great on my Samsung 22.5-cu ft 4-Door Counter-Depth French Door Refrigerator with Single Ice Maker Model # RF23J9011SR. If you want to have piece of mind knowing that the product will fit and not leak, spend the extra money. It's definitely worth it.

I always to buy branded parts for replacement and this is a perfect for my refrigerator.

Good filter that came with our fridge, but ours is the smaller one. Just a little pricey. If you don’t mind the brand, best buy has their own brand for about half the price and works just as good.

Several were in stock as indicated on the BestBuy website. Competitively priced and as a bonus I could use a coupon that was emailed and loaded on my BestBuy rewards card. Very easy checking out and friendly store clerk. I have tried off-brand filters and they are not worth the price difference. You get what you pay for and Samsung makes quality products.

After buying a filter from a different site that was counterfeit (Which was causing my fridge to leak) I decided to try this one from best buy. It had a way to check for authenticity and worked perfectly in my fridge. Will definitely buy again
