Only concern is the price of the original equipment filter. $50 for something that last 6 months or less. Alternative brand filter at Best Buy is always sold out or on back order. Must be due to price of the filter!

They're a little pricey but I would rather spend a little more for the Samsung filters than the generic ones. Especially, water you and your family has to drink!

great filter last a long time

Costs roughly around $50 so it's not a bad price but wish the price was a little cheaper. Easy to replace and install.

Water filter works great, although a bit pricey

I have not compared it against unbranded and other after market filter yet. But planning to do that later as they are on cheaper side. Right now, I'm satisfied with the quality. less 1 star because it is expensive.
