I only use this authentic water filter. Works very well. I can tell the difference of water taste right after changing the filter. Best quality. Worth money for sure. Will not settle for the off brand after using this.

There's nothing to it! I bought generic replacements online, but they didn't fit. I had to buy three and they were expensive and I gave them away instead of sending them back (too costly to do that). I learned the hard way that for the finicky Samsung refrigerators, you have to get OEM water filters.

This is just what I needed to replace my old filter. Easy to install. I searched online before buying and found several cheaper options, but they didn't filter out everything. The cheaper ones just make the water taste better, but leave the contaminants. This is the one you'll want.

This is my first replacement filter since purchasing my new Samsung fridge from Best Buy 6 months ago. The water was so smooth and great tasting. Yum!The need replacement indicator lit up and I honestly noticed the differance in water quality. I know there are cheaper knock off filters out there. But I read they are not as good, some leak and only have one ring at base! Plus it will mess up your warranty if you use generic brands.Duh! I won't even try them! Samsung costs a bit more, true, wish it didn't. But I'm Worth It ! Water is Life ..don't be a cheapscape with your life!

I only purchase Samsung appliances. Love having water and ice in the french door refrigerator. Responsible price and I always purchase two filters at a time so I have a backup.

This is the replacement water filter for our new fridge in-door water supply. The original factory filter lasted for about 6mths. It is very easy to remove the old and replace it with the new. Run a few glasses of water thru the system to get the filter ready and all is good.

This product works well with Samsung refrigerators but it has been overpriced by Samsung.

Great samsung water filter. Employees in the appliance section were very helpful. Couldn’t remember what type filter I needed for my garage fridge, so my wife sent a pic of the model and they matched the filter. Luckily Samsung only makes 2 filters, so that helps also.

We’ve tried both Samsung and generic versions of this filter, and the name brand, while more expensive, doesn’t have the aftertaste that lingers a few days after installing the generic version. In this case, it pays to go with the name brand.

The filter works very well and lasts a reasonably long time for average use, but it is too expensive

This water filter does a very good job. It lasts for 6 months. I've used 3 so far and the water always tastes good. You need to use a plyers to turn the filter container to remove the old one.
