Makes the city water tolerable! Works great, and doesn’t leave a funny aftertaste.

This will be the fourth filter replacement since our initial purchase of our Samsung fridge. The replacement of the filter is fairly straightforward. There has been no issues with leakage or blockage of water with this item. We primarily make use of this filter for the icemaker which is used regularly. It does significantly improve the taste of the tap water, but is not quite equal to our separate home water filtration unit for drinking water. The lifespan of our filter has been about 6 to 7 months of filtration of about 1 gallon per day of moderately unpleasant tasting tap water.

This filter has the legit testing strip unlike many of the knockoff filters available elsewhere. It is priced higher but you know you are getting a real filter vs. cheap knockoffs that really don't filter or clog easily. If you are going to buy a filter may as well buy an actual filter.

This filter fits without leaks and presumably filters out what the literature says it does. I change it out every 6 months using the autoship plan from Best Buy which reduces the price a bit.

Location of the filter is placed right in the front of the fridge. Makes changing it a piece of cake!!! We have well water, but it doesn't taste bad. It just doesn't really taste great and I worry about bacteria or parasites. The filter gives me PEACE of mind. And it taste great!! I actually drink more!!!

Filter for clean tasting water in Samsung refrigerator. Easy to install although it does require a strong grip to loosen.

This is a very good product. I had my old filter in that was running on red 'change the filter' light for two weeks. The water tasted so bad, I couldn't drink it. Once new filter was installed, the water was back to delicious again. The only thing that made me give four stars instead of five is that you have to change the filter often. I do not use the refrigerated water to frequently since I have a bottled water cooler, but the indicator light comes on somehow too soon after the filter is installed. It just doesn't last long.

I ordered one of these from Amazon last year and the water barely dribbled out. Ordered this one from Best Buy and it is legit. The water is once again flowing like it did when the fridge was new with the original filter. Don't be fooled be a lower price at the other sites. You get what you pay for, and while I wish this was less expensive, it's worth it to have the right product!

Took only a few minutes to install and prime for using to actually drink water. You need to make sure to prime it by running a few gallons of water through the new filter before actually drinking it. If you don't prime then there can be a plasticy taste. I found the same filter at a different store but wanted to get reward zone points so I bought at best buy since they will match the price.

I wasn't sure if this filter would work for my type of refrigerator but I bought this hoping it would work and thank goodness it did. The sales person was very helpful.

We've bought generic water filters in the past, but we resorted to buying the name brand filters of Samsung because the water tastes great and has no after taste unlike the generic brands.

I was able to easily locate the correct water filter for my Samsung refrigerator with the help of my Best Buy Associate. The filter is easier to install if you turn off the ice maker first. I recommend this filter. It's high quality and you can use it longer than the recommended 6 months (in my opinion) and still have clean, great tasting, water.

I don't know any cons in this product yet may be I am not water scientist but it makes water taste good and very easy to assemble and I can trust this item as I bought this from best buy (one of the best and trustable online site and store ) and Samsung (known for quality product)

Have no complaints - it fits my refrigerator and seems to keep the water from looking like dirty socks. (I'm on a well, so a filter is definitely a good thing to have!)

This Samsung Water Filter works great and is easy to change. Remember to turn off the water to your fridge this will back off the pressure and make it much easier to unscrew.

Works great for our refrigerator, glad we chose to visit best buy for this purchase. Will buy again!
