We have a samsung refridgerator that requires this filter, filter does a good job but only lasts about 6 months, I'm sure has something to do with our water too. Only problem is the cost, at $100.00 every year, would be nice if cost would come down, otherwise good filter

I have heard many stories about these leaking when purchased from other sources. I have always purchased these from where I bought my refrigerator, and they always fit. This is no exception. Don't buy cheaper replacements and then complain when they don't fit.

Install is really easy, just unscrew the old and put in the new. Ran 5 cups of water through to get the air out and clear the filter. Water tastes great.
