We use the water and ice every day and always have safe water for drinking and cooking. One tip, if you have strong water pressure turn the water off to make it easier to insert the new filter.

The salesman looked up the part number and the computer show several in stock, but they were not out on the floor. He was determine to find them and he did. We are very pleased with the salesman.

I went to the Best Buy store where we purchased the refrigerator and the young lady went and looked it up and got me the needed filter.

However, the taste wasn't quite right for my family, so I returned and got this one instead. No complain from anyone so far, so I am happy with this purchase.

Also, these filters are necessary to use the ice and water spigots on Samsung refrigerator, and seem to be overly expensive. It wasn't a consideration in purchasing the refrigerator it fits into, but affects the long-term cost of operation. Wish I could recommend an alternative, but I don't know of one.
