Our Samsung Refrigerators have a reminder every six months so that you do not forget. If you use the water dispenser constantly then you could need to change it sooner. For a family of four water drinkers, the refill lasts longer than the stated six months.

They work as they're supposed to. I've never had any issues with these and have now put them on a subscription purchase so I don't run out or have to look for them when I need them.
