When that happens, and this is quite often, I have to take the filter completely out, and then re-insert it into the refrigerator. Now, if you had an idea how difficult it is to just insert the filter into the refrigerator, you will understand why I have an issue with this.

About the water filter in your Samsung Refrigerator.
Replacing the water filter in your fridge helps keep your water tasting fresh and helps to prevent odors. Your Family Hub panel will notify you when it’s time to change it, which is about every 6 months. First make sure you purchase a genuine Samsung filter made specifically for your fridge model. You can find replacements on Samsung.com. When you’re ready to replace it, turn off the water line to the fridge, drain the waterline by running the dispenser, and then turn the old filter counterclockwise to pull it out. After you insert the new filter, turn it clockwise to lock it in place, and then turn your water valve back on. All that’s left is to run the water for a few minutes to flush it and reset the replace filter alert on your fridge.

Upon returning these items to my local Best Buy they refuse to accept because they are out of date.For a few weeks I had an emergency away from home.I spoken to Store mangers and Corporate mangers refusing return of filters.I want to be reimbursed for there items. Don't get the generic brand for a Samsung fridge!

I had good luck making a copy, but when I needed to print from my computer, I get no info on how proceed. WIRELESS comes with a downside because if I had a printing connection, it would print.

It does fit refrigerators built before 2017. Be careful to get the right cartridge. Best Buy only had the newer design.
