Although we love our refrigerator in general terms, the filter has no value. We live in San Antonio, TX where the water is hard. Even with a water softener, an extra (external) in-line filter, the Samsung filter adds no value. We tried just the filter without the extra in-line filter and prior to the water softener and you can see particles floating in the water. Luckily we now have reverse osmosis. We will not buy a replacement filter at $40.

Waterfilter leaks after install per instructions

The connection point on the filter is dead center however the 'male' connector in my frig is more top center. This is causing water to leak everywhere inside my frig. Not sure if this a filter model change, something broken in my frig, or poor QA/Design. Either way about $50 misspent.

Horrible delivery
