doesn't fit

Read on the Internet that Samsung changed the configuration and the filters don't fit older refrigerators. I bought mine in 2012. That's not old to me.Home Depot refunded my money but Best Buy store manager refused to. I had to go to corporate to get a refund.

This is the only Samsung filter they have available at the store. I assumed it was compatible but apparently I bought 1 of 3 Samsung refrigerators that need a "special" filter. What are the odds! I had to return the filter and purchase the one compatible with my refrigerator online.

My ice maker went out in less than 6 months and the parts as labor took over 3 weeks to fix but I negotiated a new unit however the ice maker cannot get the ice in the cup no matter how close the cup is - it's all over the floor and it's horrible.
