Works Exactly as described - it's a water filter
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Display shows 'pink' after 5 months and turns 'red' at 6 months, giving owner enough time to purchase a new filter. Installation is easy. People mention cost, but compared to Brita filters and Pitchers, this is cheaper.

Gotta stick with OEM
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When we purchased our fridge, salesperson recommended the Insignia knock-offs, so we got a 2-pak - they worked, but were difficult to get to seat properly & leaked a little. After using those 2, went back to the Samsung & it snapped right in like it was supposed to. Spend the extra $ for the peace of mind & quality

Works great.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Not my first purchase of this type water filter. They always work great. Only complaint is it does seem a bit pricey, but I suppose not out of line with similar filters that are unique to a particular refrigerator. it used to be quite a hassle to purchase one through the appliance affiliate that is located in the Best Buy store, but this last purchase was able to be completed at the Best Buy main check out and was much easier to check out.
