Great filter

I had the filtered water tested and the alkalinity was 8.7 which was great knowing I could have free alkaline water with this purchase. If you don't have a large family you can get through six months with out having to replace it. Don't waste money buying the generic filters. Stick with Samsung their best used with their products.

I found this to be a very common needed product and you could get it from other places, but it was very much easier to just go to my Best Buy app order it and pick it up very good experience..

Minimal to no water leakage when done quickly and properly. The Instructions require quite a bit of water to be run through the new filter initially which is wasteful and time consuming. But I give it 5 stars for its ease of installation and don’t have to turn off the water to the fridge.
