Very convenient, easy to install. Make sure to run a few glasses of water at first to get started. The water taste great and doesn’t have any bad smell.

Sure, I wish these OEM filters from Samsung cost a little less. But they work as advertised, and I trust them. The one non-OEM filter I tried (ReplacementBrand Samsung DA29-00020B Comparable Refrigerator Water Filter) would not even fit into the nozzle of the Samsung refrigerator correctly, and I had to throw it out. One other thing - multiple reviews of third party filters will mention how they love that the "water flow is so much better than with the Samsung filter." To my mind that means either (1) they are comparing a brand new third party filter to a used Samsung filter, OR (2) the third party filter is doing a substandard job of filtering the water. I would also note that the Samsung OEM filter is NSF 53 certified, while none of the third party filters I've looked at have this certification (most have no certification at all, and one I found was "independently certified at NSF 42" but has no NSF emblem on it). In this case I believe that a genuine filter from Samsung is worth the extra cost.

Easy to install and what is needed if you want clean fresh water coming out of your Samsung refrigerator. I always get Samsung original filters because they are tested and certified against ANSI/NSF Standards 42 and 53. Samsung refrigerator water filters use only a high-grade carbon block which removes over 99.999 percent of the potentially harmful contaminants that may be present in your water. And this “99.999%” figure is not a hoax.

Works great! And clean water with every use. Easy to install.

Installed easily, and if you believe what they say on the label, removes everything that you wouldn't want your water. Pricey, though.

SAMSUNG Water Filter is a for user-installation friendly filter designed to filter water dispensed from the fridge, but without any contaminants. When replacement is needed, the fridge or app will send a reminder to a phone app or other media. The unit ceases to dispense water until replaced. Pro: Sleek design, easy to install (less than one minute), easy to understand directions Con: Expensive for a water filter (no other option for Samsung) Additional advice: Unless you purged your water line, expect some/little water to leak out when you removed the old filter to replace with the new one. Once the new filter is in place, you will need to "use" the water dispenser and then throw the water away (equivalent to 12 gallons) in order to flush the filter and water line of any loose particles and impurities. After that, you are good-to-go.

The water filter was easy to install and works well. The water from our fridge taste great. The price was very reasonable as well.

Our Samsung refrigerator requires the replacement of water filters, and though it is a bit of a hassle, it's a necessary one if we want great tasting water. We've tried a few times going without when the indicator light signals that we are getting closer to the point of replacement for the filter, and yes you don't really notice the difference for the first month you skip switching out the filter, but consecutive months are quite noticeable as the water does taste ordinary. Although on the expensive side, they are indeed needed if clean, untainted water is something you wish to enjoy. They do a great job of filtering water, but they need replacement annually. It certainly adds up, but if clean, refreshing water is something you're interested in, then it's a must for Samsung fridges, work great, but expensive.

Per manufacture spec, it is a good water filter compare to the non Samsung filter. Also it is a great fit and easy to install

Perfect fit. Super easy installation. Water tastes and feels so much better. Garland water can be harsh at tInes but this took care of it.

I have used this for several yrs and keeps the water and ice in my fridge safe and tasting really fresh

Water Filter for Select Samsung Refrigerators - White, easy to install

Not sure why they are so expensive for a water filter. However it does what it's suppose to do. Haven't had any issues with taste or performance. Not sure if the off name brand will give the same quality or not.

This has a always been a good product for us. Keeps our water tasting good and clean!
