We've never had a problem with this filter made specifically for Samsung fridge. Friends have confirmed that other models are difficult to install or leak or leak easily.

We get it every 6 months and it’s great! It comes automatically, and we don’t even have to think about it!

Quick install - the hardest part is running the water through the refrig and ice maker on the door but it has to be done. When complete, it lasts a good 6 months.

We change our Samsung water filter every 6 months. It's very easy to remove and replace. We've never had any issues. The off-brand filters tend to leak and give water a funny taste. We'll stick with Samsung.
