I'm not sure if it works with other brands of refrigerators. I'm not even sure if it works with every Samsung refrigerator. Buy it has worked very well for the one I have. I do wish it would last a little longer. We mostly use it for ice, not so much for water.

The water filter was reasonably priced and very easy to install. So easy my wife insisted on doing it by herself.

It always seems to show up just when we need it. Normally our water that we drink from the refrigerator spigot tastes horrible. But, this filter really makes a difference and the water taste great.

The indicator light in the frig along with the attachable reminder sticker is very helpful. It can cause the water to become salty in taste, sometimes.
