You pop this bad boy in your fridge and the water comes out clean and cold. I swap mine out once per year even though the red light comes on about twice as often.

The filter works great but wish Samsung refrigerator could take a generic one. Fridge is hard to get service on would not recommend the fridge Water filter yes

Easy to install and does what it says it will do! We only have 2 people in our household, so we only need to install a new one once per year, as we also have a filter at our water softener.

I like that our refrig has a light to remind you when to replace filter. Then just turn off water, turn filter to left to unlock, replace, turn to right, turn water back on, press and hold light button (i think) and filter alarm is cleared. Google product manual for more accurate details about clearing the alarm

Water filter eorks well but is a little difficult to install.

The delivery person failed to find the correct address on file. Product was sent out again. Works well on Samsung refrigerator.

I tried the Insignia brand before and quickly realized that gping with OEM parts is the best way to. I feel that once in a while you can get lucky but if you value your time.
