Didn't notice a change in water taste switching between a store brand water filter vs. Samsung water filter. However, I noticed that the water speed when dispensing water now has decreased after installation of this Samsung water filter. I had the Best Buy store brand Insignia water filter before this Samsung one and water speed when dispensing was a lot better.
