Definitely helps make our hard water not an issue. I do find you can find deals on this direct form manufacture throughout the year as well. Does the job.

When it came time to change the water filter the first time was a challenge. I watched a few videos on YouTube and got it in after a few tries. The second time it was so easy to install, I went to Best Buy and asked the service representative to show me what I was doing wrong. He was most helpful. I made it harder than it was, those videos can be so confusing. I am so glad to have purchased from Best Buy the customer service is awesome.

I bought one from best buy right away for the frig and ordered two more from Samsung to hold me over for a long time. And the price is cheaper on Samsung's site by $7 dollars

Use only Samsung products on Samsung equipment

It said on the label it fit my Samsung model. It didn’t fit. I took it back to HD and got the Samsung water filter at Best Buy. Went in with no problems.

I love the fact that it gives you a install sticker to place on the filter so you know when you install it. I replace my filter every 6 months.

Box was missing the label sheet (to label when changed) and was missing the authenticator QR code/magnetic authenticator. Felt like aftermarket.

The manual says only use Samsung replacement filters but we tried another brand that supposedly was made for our model. Nope! It leaked. Best Buy had the right one in stock when no one else did locally. Thanks!
