Usually i only use it for ice since I buy bottled water. If I used it for water too, it would probably only last a month.

Serial # Matched, Fridge doesn't recognize it

My red filter indicator light has been on since installation. I've tried all kinds of things to get that light to go off but it won't. Not sure how this is even possible, or if I just got sold a dud, but for now, it's a 1 star. Not even sure if my water is being filtered, considering.

Filter is not easy to install

Didn’t realize until I pulled the refrigerator out to turn off the water to better remove the filter. I returned it and bought the right filter elsewhere. I should have checked the filter type a little closer before ordering but I would have had to remove the filter to get the part number first. No small task but doable. I used the refrigerator serial number instead.
