      We do not encourage third-party water filters, as they may cause leaks and damage the fridge. And we recommend replacing the water filter every six months or up to 300 gallons.

    This filter seems to need to be changed often.

    This filter doesn’t seem to last very long. We need to change it out every 4 months or so. It seems that it’s a revenue stream for them.

    Did not seem to make a difference. Changed filter but light still on. Could not change light status.

      Hi there Samsung Customer, I see that you have some concerns with your Samsung Refrigerator water filter light. This light is on a timed schedule to remind you every since months that you need to change your filter. You can reset the light by pressing the water filter reset button for three seconds on your control panel. Change it when you need it. you can use the light as a reminder to order the filter. Our filters are rated to filtrate 300 gallons of water.     Water filter for Bespeak is unreturnable even new

    Never got the refrigerator due to delivery problems. Now i need to return the NEVER OPENED water filter and need to extend the return date by 3 weeks. Far less than the delivery date was extended for me. It is $50 and I'm retired so thats a lot to for me.

    Problem with filter.

    The filter is ok but getting it into the fridge is something else. I had to have my girlfriend’s husband come and it took a long time for him to get it in. I certainly won’t get another in six months. It’s in there for awhile.
