    Overpriced, difficult to install

    Other model sizes of filters are cheaper for some reason, those are longer sized. Other brock and mortar retailer (like a certain blue store) sell these for less. Trying to get the filter in or out, the thing is actually not easy to grasp, let alone turn. Apparently you can easily install this wrong and it will leak everywhere. 'Filtered' water still has that sink flavor, and some leftover hard water minerals. A complicated mess.

    Worst refrigerator I have ever had! numerous tech calls. IceMaker dies niot work. Best Buy nor Samsung standing by the procduct, Techs are great but thereis no permanent fix! Do not purchase Samsung!

    Not compatible with my fridge but recommended

    I cannot speak to the quality and value of the item because I was not able to use it, so my stars are not very relevant to this review. This item was a recommended item with my purchase of the Samsung counter depth fridge model RF18A5101SG/AA and the item is not compatible with my fridge and hopefully I can return it. It was very very difficult to find out whether the item was compatible with my fridge which was also upsetting and surprising. Impossible to install which helped us figure out it was incompatible.
