That changed after a faulty replacement caused the water line to back up and freeze. We had to dismantle the back of the fridge to defrost. We read that the Samsung factory water filter would solve the issue. So far, so good, and we are quite surprised that we have had not to replace the filter yet. The generic did not last nearly as long.
