I put it in and my water taste very clean. The filter was a little expensive but works great.

If you have time, try to subscribe for a 6-month subscription. That will save you money. Depending on how frequently you use it, it should last 5-8 months. Having the red light for changing filter is not required to order, but as soon as you can taste the difference, you should order a new filter.
