If you just hit the filter reset buttons you will find you can actually get 3-4Xs the use out of this 50 dollar filter ( at least that has been my experience and I am a hydraulics expert). There is not a filter by-pass system in this . Great filter though. Stay with the OEM but just try this little hack.

First I wanted to save some $$$ and bought the same filter from the largest online retailer, but I received a fake I was afraid to use. I turned to BestBuy and for a little extra I received the true product.
