Making sure you have the right filter type for your fridge is the most important part. But using this brand filter designed for our fridge has saved some heartache. Off-brands can be a little cheaper, but sometimes have issues with fit and functionality. We had an off-brand one that had a slow drip leak, another that caused a slow stream from the in-door water access. The Samsung brand for our Samsung fridge is a little more expensive, but fits perfectly, doesn’t leak, and has no issues. We have an auto-ship that keeps us with a fresh filter right on time. It’s worth the few extra dollars.

This filter is fantastic. Fresh, clean water throughout the system (ice / water) for my Samsung refrigerator. It’s also quite easy to install. Wish it were a tad cheaper, but it’s still a money saver rather than constantly buying bottled water. Instead, fill up a refillable glass bottle with the fresh water and you’ll be good to go! Enjoy!

I prefer to buy the filter to match my appliance. I ordered it and used a certificate as well. I went to curbside pickup and picked it up. Quick and easy. It was easy to install, filters the water and didn't have to worry about it leaking. Fresh filtered water.

Great service - I needed this filter, and wasn't sure where to find it locally these days (especially at 6:30 AM). I ordered online and received timely and is exactly what we need. Every refrigerator/freezer has specifications and it's best to buy from the manufacturer. After market ones don't always work out so you don't save money in the long run - based on our experience.

Filter works very well. My water and Ice come out clear and taste refreshing.Filter last a long time even if you use your water and get Ice from your fridge multiple times a day.

We are using Samsung refrigerator more than 5 years and buying the filters 2 times a year. It is very easy to install. Taste of water great, so we are not buying bottled water anymore.

We bought our new fridge about seven months ago, and right on schedule, the water filter needed replacing last month. We looked online to buy it from the Samsung site. The filter was quite a bit cheaper than the same one at Best Buy, but when you figure in the shipping charge, it would have cost more. So, we just bit the bullet and purchased it from the store. In this particular fridge, it was very easy to install the new filter. No issues with installation. They are pricey, but you gotta have it. We can't comment on the filter's longevity sInce we've only had it about a month, but hopefully it will go the six month estimate.

The Samsung water filter was easy to change with no problems. It fits well & has been doing its job. I trust the Samsung name & expect it to perform as well as the filter that was originally installed by the manufacturer. The one negative is it's expensive.

I bought two of these filters - one to install now and one for a spare. I put one in (it takes about 5 seconds to insert it and give it a half twist to the right to install it, and then I followed the instructions of running about a gallon of water through it. You really do need to run this amount of water through it so get all of the air out of it so you get a smooth stream of filered water coming out. I then reset the change filter light - you have to do this manually but all it takes is pressing and holding for 5 seconds (not the 3 seconds they tell you) the child lock/filter reset spot on the bottom left corner of the touch control screen just above the water/ice dispenser. It works great now - tasty filtered water and flavorless crushed ice from my fancy refrigerator any time I want it.

I always want fresh, clean water and ice from my refrigerator. This filter does a great job removing everything that causes a bad taste or cloudy water. Its easy to install and has not failed to work well. I highly recommend this product and I will certainly continue to use it each time I replace my filter.

Needed for the fridge and it works great. Price could be less but at lease it’s not more

I think the filter is good. It is so easy to install . The filter is quite costly. I think it should costed about $25. I wished they last longer than 6 months. I feel my water is fresh and clean with this filter . I would definitely recommend this product to my friends.

This water filter works great in my Samsung refrigerator. Very east to install and delivers good taste water. Good packaging and delivered on time. Very pleased with the purchase.

It's hard to be overly excited about reviewing a water filter. Hence the 4 stars. It works, I've been using these filters for almost 5 years. it's easy to load and takes a little finger strength to unload so your young kids may not be able to just undo it willy nilly, which is a good thing if you think about it...but that's more the design of the fridge and placement of the filter, I suppose. As far as taste goes, after the requisite gallon you run through and throw out after a new filter it's all I drink. Tap where I'm at is okay but filtered fridge water is better and yes you can tell the difference. I have this product on subscription because it's convenient and cheaper, like air filters a sub is the way to go.

Original filter for the Samsung refrigerator. Very easy to install. A little pricey but easy to install. I don't trust after market filters after a huge water leak that a friend had.
