Easy to install; gives good life of service; fits needs well

This filter is specific to Samsung fridges with water. We use ours on a model with French doors and water on the outside. Will also filter the water for the ice maker.

There isn’t much to say. It is a necessity for the applicable models of refrigerators to have a properly functioning water dispenser. 6 years and no problems, so far. Even when I ignore the red light and don’t promptly change the filter.

The filter is easy to install and remove. It does a great job filtering the water.

These filters are easy to remove the old ones and install the new ones. Work well!

I prefer to use the authorized Samsung filters with my refrigerator. I would much rather purchase authorized filters than skimp on the filters and have issues with the fridge down the line or water quality problems. Fast shipping and have had no issues with the filters yet (I’ve been using these filters since I got the fridge a couple years ago.)

Making sure you have the right filter type for your fridge is the most important part. But using this brand filter designed for our fridge has saved some heartache. Off-brands can be a little cheaper, but sometimes have issues with fit and functionality. We had an off-brand one that had a slow drip leak, another that caused a slow stream from the in-door water access. The Samsung brand for our Samsung fridge is a little more expensive, but fits perfectly, doesn’t leak, and has no issues. We have an auto-ship that keeps us with a fresh filter right on time. It’s worth the few extra dollars.

These filters work great. Water has zero taste to it when using these filters unlike using generic filters that I have tried. Also the price isn’t that much more than the generic filters. Plus if the water tastes terrible then what’s the point in saving a few bucks. Go with these filters for your replacements.

OK, so I'm not sure there's much to say about a filter for your Samsung refrigerator. You should replace them regularly, if you want clean, filtered water. The reason I'm writing this is that I had read how one really needs to turn the water off before taking out the old and in with the new. That means either pulling the refrigerator from the wall, getting behind it and turning the water off there OR shutting down water to the entire house. Sorry, neither option appeals. So I decided to just try replacing the filter without turning the water off. And it couldn't have been simpler or worked better. No pressure issues. No spraying or dripping water. Just replace it, and then do make sure you run a couple gallons of water through to get rid of any impurities and air in the system. Easy Peasy!
