    I guess it does its job, but, doesn’t last more than 3-4 months and it’s only me. Usually i only use it for ice since I buy bottled water. If I used it for water too, it would probably only last a month.

    The filter is not a problem, I bought a subscription for every 180 days for new filter, they sending every 60 , i have a stack of filters

    Filters fine BUT extremely difficult install

    I've changed our filter twice using the Samsung filter BUT each time is has been extremely difficult to install, causing considerable spillage into the fridge/freezer drawer. The install requires significant twisting force while water spills out. Turning off the water to the firdge will decrease this but will still allow for a messy change. I'll probably try a different brand next time since the factory warranty will be up anyway.

    No more Bestbuy for me

    Best Buy sent me a defective filter on my auto resupply subscription. I called customer service and they sent a pick up tag. A few weeks later the faulty filter was sent back to me with a note saying used filters are not returnable. I called customer service again and explained the situation again and they sent another pick up tag. Once again it was sent back toe with a note saying this item wasn't returnable. For the third time customer service sent a pick up tag and once more it came back with the same note. I called customer service again and this time they said they couldn't do anything. They spent more money picking up and reshipping the same faulty filter than it would have cost to replace the item. Apparently nobody in customer service has the ability to interact with people in the return department. I know send copies of all my crutchfieild receipts to the Best buy women who kept sending back the filter and to Best buys CEO. The $45 filter has cost them over $8000 in sales in the past two years, not to mention the fact that I cancelled the filter subscription and buy those elsewhere now.
