Highly recommended. Most filters don’t do much but these actually make the ice fairly clean, and the drinking water quality is decent. Not RO good but drinkable.

It seems this is the only filter available to use with our Samsung fridge so their really isn't any other choice. Luckily, this works fine and the water/ice tastes normal. It lasts us about six months at a time. It's a little tricky to get in/out of the fridge but like i said, it's the only choice.

Remember to turn off your water supply before trying to replace the old filter. The pressure may stop you from twisting the knobs. This is very important and hard for some frig's that are enclosed. I had to go out to my garage and turn off the whole house water for a minute or two. Not a big deal, but it could be for people that need to move the entire frig out to get access to the water supply. Always replace your filter within a few months of the warning. That is just to be safe and sure you are getting clean water and ice.

I purchased to replace water filter in my Samsung refrigerator. It was easy to remove old filter and install this filter. It would be nice if the price was more reasonable.

I drink a lot of water every day, so making sure it is filtered is important. This filter is easy enough for me to change out and updating the fridge is even easier. Plus, the price has gone down about $20 since I bought the first one.

East to install and good to know from the BB Tech that Samsung only makes two refrigerator water filters - short and wide; and, long and thin. Words great!!
