This filter fits the Samsung refrigerator. It is easy to remove the old and install the new filter. Once installed you need to run some water through it to displace the air. Once completed it performs well. My water is always clean, cold and tastes great.

I know water filters aren't exactly exciting, but they are important to providing you and your family clean water. There are always less expensive options you can buy, but I'm not one for taking a chance on using anything other than genuine replacement filters for my refrigerator. It can't be easier to replace the filter. Simply unscrew the filter you have, remove it, then insert and tighten the new filter. It is recommended you flow a few quarts of water through after you've replaced the filter to get any air out from the replacement process. Then you're good to go till your notified it's time for a new replacement.

Saw conflicting reviews about this product; One stated they encountered leakage after install and it didn't fit. Another said if you installed correctly, you would have no problems. I didn't turn off water as recommended. I simply unlocked and removed old one and replaced. No leakage, no problems. Satisfied.

This water filter does a very good job. It lasts for 6 months. I've used 3 so far and the water always tastes good. You need to use a plyers to turn the filter container to remove the old one.

Purchased for my Samsung refrigerator, and it works seamlessly. It is very easy to install. Samsung recommends that you run several gallons of water through the filter, which takes quite a bit of time; other than that, no issues.

Pretty simple and easy to use filter. The directions were simple to follow and easy to install. The price could be better though.

No problems purchasing this genuine Samsung water filter. It is a little pricey but you truly get what you've paid for. There are a lot of fake samsung filters out there so do your homework before you buy it. For few bucks more just get a genuine one.

Easy to install. Water taste fresh and clear. No sediments. My five year old starts drinking water , change from his sugary fuit juice drink. Long lasting and mostly economy as compare to buying bottle waters. I fill up my water bottle and carry them, stay fresh the whole day. I like it

Apparently the good thing about Samsung refrigerators is that you only need to know if it's a long, skinny water filter or not. Apparently there are only two kinds. When I bought this in the store, I was holding my phone with a picture of the water filter on Amazon to show the Best Buy worker, and he saw it and took me to the same filter in the store. And he also said, are you doing a price match? And checked me out with the cheaper online price, quick and easy. Very observant and efficient employee they have there. And the water filter itself is easy to install, located at the front of the refrigerator so you don't need to take all kinds of stuff out of your refrigerator in order to install it, like some other refrigerator brands.

This works wel for my Samsung refrigerator, I purchased the refrigerator several years ago and it's been the best purchase I've made to date.

Love that this filter was so easy and quick to install. It was like replacing a battery. I also like that I found this replacement quick online. A bit pricey but lasts at least 6 months which is wonderful during these times.

I thought this would be hard to replace but it was easy. My water taste much better again. It was my first time replacing the filter, since I purchased my refrigerator about 5 months ago. Shipping was really fast too.

This item is the type no one wants to have to buy. They are pricey. But if you want your fridge to keep producing clean filtered water, it's a necessity. Fortunately installation is quick and painless. The hardest thing was moving the fridge so I could turn off the water.

Affordable replacement water filter for Samsung Refrigerator. We had no problem installing these in our new Samsung fridge. The quality and built is a lot better than the previous Kenmore Elite we had. The quality of the filtered water comes out taste like good bottled water.

I have had my refrigerator for two years now and these filters are the only ones that I use. They are pretty easy to change out. Just twist and pull and put the other in. The filters are kinda pricey at $50 but it is what it is.

The Samsung water filter was very easy to replace. I'm so glad Best Buy can just order for us if we happen to be in store. Filter makes a difference in the taste of the water. Would recommend replacing as...recommended :)
