    OEM replacement filter. We don't use the water option much even with the filter. We have a soft water system and a separate system for drinking under the sink. This does keep our ice from tasting weird.

    I tried a few other name brands, but Samsung Filters appear to be the best bet. They are slightly more expensive but the water tastes better.

    We purchased this filter to replace the one that came with our new frig. It is just a little bit pricey and needs to be replaced alittle more often then we expected. But I guess considering the price of the frig.; I should have expected the filter to cost a bit more.
