I have used these filters for sometime and they have been great. No leaks, bad taste or whatever. Easy to change, fits each time.

I’ve tried the generics and they do not hold up to the quality I get from the Samsung water filter. It’s pricey, but I learned cutting cost on this has adverse effects!

My fancy samsung refrig came from bestbuy, and also here offered the best price for the two filter bundle. Normally you will find it around $50 from other retailer. It takes in a minute to insert it and give it a half twist to the right to install it, and then I followed the instructions of running about a gallon of water through it. You really do need to run this amount of water through it so get all of the air out of it so you get a smooth stream of filtered water coming out.

I already replaced the refrigerator water filter once at the six month recommendation. These filters are pricey, but really make a world of difference in water taste. The 3 pack is the way to go to save money, as well as using the Easy Replenish Program. Also, there are fake filters being produced. Buying directly from Best Buy ensures you get genuine filters. These even have an authentication system on them. Great filters.

This is the official Samsung fridge filter for the water spout/ice maker Pros: Water tastes clean through this filter. I have fairly hard water and see a major difference compared to kitchen tap water. Handy magnet tester to verify the product isn't fake with every bottle Cons: Pricey, but all good water filters are Locking the filter in place within the fridge is cumbersome; If it isn't completely locked you will get water as you normally do, but water will also spill out into the bottom of the fridge until you lock it correctly. It would be nice to have more certainty that the filter is lcoked correctly.
