There are cheaper third party replacements but I read many reviews that water started leaking after a few days of use and decided to go with OEM product. The product works great. Also bestbuy did a price match to Amazon and the convenience of just picking it up was great.

It’s easy to locate in the store and I am able to change it myself. It also comes with a handy fridge magnet to remind me (although my fridge reminds me too) that I need to change at a certain time.

Just turn the old filter counterclockwise and pull it out. Then put the new one in and make sure you run about 3 gallons of water to flush out any impurities before drinking.
