Quality filter at not so great price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This was my first filter replacement on our new refrigerator, so I purchased what was recommended in the manual. It was very easy and quick to change, took about 1 minute. I did think the price was a bit high ($50) for a filter that needs to be changed on average every 6 months. I think I will check for third party brands before it's time to replace again.

Simple & easy to keep your Fridge water fresh

Be sure to turn off your water source, either behind your fridge or your main water shutoff valve. Just reset the fridge's filter alarm light (if your model has one) and you're good for another 6 months.

The instructions did mention to turn off the water to the fridge, but the gasket did not leak while we swapped the filters. Signed up for the reoccuring shipments so I would save some money, without having to worry about reordering.

So every few months I will receive a new filter.

Good filter for our hard water!

Easy to change; but I strongly recommend shutting off water supply to the refrigerator as the instructions suggest. Otherwise, the pressure makes it very difficult to "reload".

Samsung Water Filter

It does no work. My husband Was trying to save a few pennies and flooded the kitchen with a compatible product. Love the Samsung Refrigerator!

I wanted to wait to give my review to see how long it would last. It lasted for 7 months of daily use for us. Its easy to put in and take out, easy to use. I will be buying it again.

This is a simple swap to make unscrew the old filter and screw in the new filter. I did need to reset the ice maker by holding the reset button. Simple change for for man or woman.

Yes it may be more expensive but worth it in the long run. Do the research. Why ruin a big appliance investment,and more importantly your heath just to save $ upfront.
