OEM part. Works as intended. The part number changes depending on whether you're buying 1, 2 or 3 filters but they should all fit they're all the same model.

It is a little pricey but worth it. I used to go every week and refill the 5 gallon bottles with water before we upgraded to a refrigerator that had a water dispenser. Water taste good it's fresh and it beats carrying those heavy 5 gallon bottles.

While the Samsung Water Filter was easy to install it was extremely expensive for a filter that must be replaced every 6 months,

We bought this Samsung refrigerator about a year ago and have changed the filter twice. The filter works great and is simple to change. We have turned off the water supply to the fridge each time prior to removing the old filter. We have had no leaks.

I'd swear that the price of this item climbs each time I buy one. We have to change the filter every few months, and have grown apprehensive when we realize that the warning light is on again and the filter must be changed. Other than that, it's a fine product.

Pretty easy to replace in the fridge and no overhead other than getting rid of the first few gallons of water through it. Just be ready for air to come out of the water dispenser until it fills the filter and lines.

I have bought filters for this refrigerator that were supposed to be the right product. However, that product caused water to squirt across my kitchen. The filter for my Samsung refrigerator bought at BEST BUY was the right filter and works perfectly.
