It is priced higher but you know you are getting a real filter vs. cheap knockoffs that really don't filter or clog easily. If you are going to buy a filter may as well buy an actual filter.

We have a whole house water filtration system but even with that the regular tab water has an unpleasant taste. We have a reverse osmosis filter under the kitchen sink that produces water that tastes just as good as bottled water to me. The Samsung water filter in our Samsung refrigerator is on par with the water from the kitchen sink.
