The correct filter for my refrigerator was automatically shipped to my home via a program I signed up for with BB.

It always works, I have used the off-brand and had problems, but never with the Samsung brand.

I prefer to buy the factory original filters for the products I buy. Best buy has them resonably priced and is where u bought the fridge.

It's a must-have for our Samsung fridge, but it is tough to put in without getting water everywhere. Have a towel handy! Once you get it in, it's great!

Water seems to be well filtered, but have not owned it log enough to determine its longevity. Not sure what else a filter can do.

It's not like a person has a choice of filters. The filter must be the one designed for the refrigerator owned. So, what can really be said about a refrigerator water filter. It fits! It filters water! The water supplied makes good ice cubes and drinking water.
