||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The water filter seems to do a good job, however, I have bought 5 of these so far some from Samsung directly and some from other retailers, and none of them have lasted anywhere close to the 6 months listed on the package. For many of the ones purchased the water pressure slows to a trickle after only 6-8 weeks and needs to be replaced. As a result I would reconsider buying a Samsung refrigerator next time I need one.

A few hours later, there was water all over the floor and in the bottom on the refrigerator floor. We turned off the water to the filter and it continued to leak. We called a tech who said the filter was bad. We replaced it and no leaking. We are totally done with Samsung.

you must dismantle water filter housing to clean

Wanted to clean glad and wasn’t able to remove it Called and stayed on the phone 2 hours trying to get housing out without breaking anything. Finally told someone would come out. Instead I got a call telling me to hire a plumber to help me.
