    This is a good filter for sediment and some chlorine taste/smell removal, however, it wasn't until we installed a whole-house filtration system that we were able to remove all chlorine taste/smell.

    Using the name brand filters recommended by Samsung was worth the extra money. Easy installation. Water and ice actually taste better using these instead of the generic brand. They even come with "month" stickers to put on the filter to remind you when to change it next time.
