When a manufacturer makes a product that requires a filter to be replaced and recommends that it be replaced every six months, last Samsung product I will purchase. Maybe Best Buy should remove the Samsung product line.

The directions say to turn off the water before switching filters. That’s not convenient at all. I have to recommend because otherwise you’ll have a dirty filter but if I’m fact you must turn off the water that is a serious design flaw.

We do recommend that the water filter be changed every 6 six months and the reason for turning off your water is to relieve any pressure from the water filter for easy removal and reinstallation. I casually went to the Honolulu Best Buy store to see where I could get the water filter. They had it there on the shelf at a wonderful price. I purchased it and replaced the original one with the new one. Works great!
