Filters fine BUT extremely difficult install

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've changed our filter twice using the Samsung filter BUT each time is has been extremely difficult to install, causing considerable spillage into the fridge/freezer drawer. The install requires significant twisting force while water spills out. Turning off the water to the firdge will decrease this but will still allow for a messy change. I'll probably try a different brand next time since the factory warranty will be up anyway.

Shorter life than expected

This water filter can last up to 6 months or so if it has already filtered 300 gallons of water whichever comes first.

Serial # Matched, Fridge doesn't recognize it

My red filter indicator light has been on since installation. I've tried all kinds of things to get that light to go off but it won't. Not sure how this is even possible, or if I just got sold a dud, but for now, it's a 1 star. Not even sure if my water is being filtered, considering.
