    This filter doesn’t seem to last very long. We need to change it out every 4 months or so. It seems that it’s a revenue stream for them.

This light is on a timed schedule to remind you every since months that you need to change your filter. You can reset the light by pressing the water filter reset button for three seconds on your control panel. Change it when you need it. you can use the light as a reminder to order the filter.     The filter is ok but getting it into the fridge is something else. I had to have my girlfriend’s husband come and it took a long time for him to get it in. I certainly won’t get another in six months. It’s in there for awhile.

    I purchased the filter on Dec 24, 2024 and last week the light came on to change the filter. $52 should last longer than 45 days. And no me and wife have not drank 300 gallons if water!!!
