    I haven’t used it yet. The fridge came with a filter. The directions say to turn off the water before switching filters. That’s not convenient at all. I have to recommend because otherwise you’ll have a dirty filter but if I’m fact you must turn off the water that is a serious design flaw.

We do recommend that the water filter be changed every 6 six months and the reason for turning off your water is to relieve any pressure from the water filter for easy removal and reinstallation.     Matched it up to my fridge, but my fridge doesn't recognize it. My red filter indicator light has been on since installation. I've tried all kinds of things to get that light to go off but it won't. Not sure how this is even possible, or if I just got sold a dud, but for now, it's a 1 star. Not even sure if my water is being filtered, considering.

    I had brought this because I have a new Samsung refrigerator and i tried to hook it up and it didn’t work out so good for me because I didn’t read any instructions lol so I recommend you guys pay attention to the instructions
