To maintain warranty and provide the equipment to function at 100% efficiency is absolute. Fitment and tested standards vs. generic copies don’t always justify a cheaper price. Protect your investment.

Square shape will turn!

Of course it does. Caution though... don't take out the old one until you have the new one ready to go. I found it difficult to find the replacement filter number at the Samsung website. Wasn't in our owner's manual. Samsung issue...not a Best Buy issue. No leaks!

We attempted to buy at other places and were just confused as to whether or not the product would fit. Best Buy identified the filter exactly!
