If not, the filter will not work your filter must be on the original filter however, the water taste excellent when changed.

It is also placed in the middle part of the refrigerator and only uses small space. Very convenient to use.

Our well water has a sulfur smell to it and this filter eliminates it! Good product and lasts about a year depending on the amount of use.
