    Samsung filters give a great fresh tasting water. Some of the off brands do not filter out all that these do. So I just stick with the name brand.

    I was offered a competitive brand at the store the last time and my filter light kept coming on. I replaced it with the name brand model before the 6 months timeframe. I haven't had any issue with the filter light coming on. It's always best to get the name brand no matter what the saleman states.
