We followed complicated directions

We pulled the fridge away from the wall and turned off the water as advised before replacing the filter. Turned the water back on after. Then moved the fridge back into place. As a result the bottom freezer stopped working. The icemaker stopped working. Service had to be called. The icemaker had to be replaced ( not unusual for this model of Samsung). The bottom freezer works againZ evidently the connections on the back of the fridge are delicate and sometimes are crimped if the fridge is too close to the back wall. A lot of bother for replacing a water filter!!
