buy these - not the cheap ones from discounters

What ever you do, do NOT buy the "generic replacement" from places such as home depot or other discounters; stick with the name brand product.

Filter work as designed / Samsung sucks

I've had many of them over five years of the refrigerator from Samsung. After about two years with a Samsung refrigerator, it started to leak. The ice maker broke next because it's made of PLASTIC (freezing and plastic don't last). Then it started to leak into the freezer. Doh! I contacted fix it people and the vendor. Basically I have to buy a new refrigerator as Samsung's are known to fall apart after 2 years. The fix it mechanics said the refrigerator wasn't even worth fixing after 2 year. Buyer beware - If you buy a Samsung refrigerator. Know you will be replacing it after 2 years or be like me cleaning up water and plastic peaces all the time. Friggin Samsung.
