I wanted to go a much cheaper route with an off brand but the sheer number of bad reviews for them scared me off. The last thing I wanted were problems like leaks and other potential issues people mentioned. I've had none of that which is great. However, I think $50 for a water filter is ridiculous - hence merely 4 stars.

Filter was a verified manufacturer's replacement as recommended by Samsung. Filter was well displayed in store.

Bought this as opposed to the cheaper off brand versions when I read about leaks in some of the 3rd party filters. This was easy to install and works with no surprises. Cost is the only issue, but they last a while.

Does what its supposed to do, filter your water. I have bought more than one of these over the last 3 years and they work great. The water tastes good and it lasts a decent amount of time for my family who are Big water drinkers.

No issues with this product. This is the standard replacement part for the Samsung refrigerator. Fairly simple to install. Wish the pricing on this item was much, much lower since it's to be replaced on average every 6 months.

I have bought this quality product before using the online purchase and in-store pickup options. Best Buy maintains the filter in stock, the price is reasonable, and I can pick it up almost immediately at the store.

These filters are super easy to install on our Samsung refrigerator. We do it twice a year which keeps the water fresh. The 4-star is because of that reason. We have to change them 2x per year. Other than that, they’re great!

I'm using this in my Samsung fridge and the water and ice taste great. The only thing that's a pain is that you have to let it run for a while when you first put the filter in, which isn't helping with the California drought.

Requires a little strength to install and therefore some women are unable to insert the filter. Other than that the only caveat is that you must run water through the filter for several minutes before you are able to drink the water.

It's a water filter. It fits my Samsung refrigerator. To my knowledge there is not a less expensive substitute. What more can be said?

This filter is so simple to install in my Samsung refrigerator. I reset the button in 3 seconds and walla, my appliance was cool again within an hour.

Easy to install. Not great that you have to cycle three gallons of water through it, but seems to be just something you have to do with most filters
