The generic ones took forever to prime and lasted about 1/4 of the time the name brand one does. This is a case of you get what you pay for, I will never again buy generic water filters.

I would recommend spending the extra money to make sure it does not leak.

Now I do not need to remember to pick one up; it is simply sent to my home every six months for the swap out.

I think the filter is overprice, and also does not last the time that should last (6 months). I am changing 3 times a year expending more than $150.00. It could be the bad quality of the water in my town. My advise to you, is to check the water filter before you buy a refrigerator.

Easy to install and lasts about six months. Definitely a great filter and the fridge is the best!

I think the filters are expensive but I had a $25 gift card so it was even a better value I guess we will have to see what the life usage to see the value for your money.

Do Not buy a off brand because they will leak.
